Black Colleagues Association Scholarship

The Black Colleagues Association Scholarship, a chartered affinity network of the Alumni Association, offers a variety of scholarships to current and prospective students of Illinois State University. Latinx Alumni Network Scholarship

The Latinx Alumni Network (LAN) was established and recognized as an affinity network by the Alumni Association in the fall of 2014. As a part of LAN’s mission, the organization desires to assist students in securing financial support through an annual scholarship with applications typically open in October and close in early December. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer+ (LGBTQ+) Student Support Fund

The LGBTQ+ Student Support Fund provides support for educational programming related to LGBTQ+ topics. In addition, student scholarships and emergency financial assistance may be provided for students who are not receiving sufficient financial support based on life circumstances and/or a member of a group that supports LGBTQ+ issues.

This fund supports applications that demonstrate one or more of the following:

  1. An emergency financial need based on current life circumstances - must be enrolled as an Illinois State University undergraduate or graduate student in the semester in which funds are granted
  2. A financial need from a student member of an ISU RSO or other group that supports LGBTQ+ issues - must be enrolled as an Illinois State University undergraduate or graduate student in the semester in which funds are granted
  3. Educational programming related to LGBTQ+ topics intended for the ISU student body - current Illinois State University students must be the intended audience, and programming must occur on the Illinois State University campus
